There has been a great deal of noise made about this software. MusicMatch Jukebox is an all-in-one mp3 player, mp3 encoder, recorder, and cd ripper. Quite frankly, I really don't see what all the fuss is about. The player section and quality has zero on Winamp, the playlist is nothing special, the Encoder has nothing on several other encoders, and it has a nasty habbit of crashing while ripping. The music library is ok, but I would never use it because the player itself isn't better than Winamp. Pretty heavy cpu usage. Massive disk space usage (15-20meg) Although the playlist and text portions do have a much needed font control that is sorely missing in Winamp, however becareful with the controls, some are links to the website which rudely launch your browser without warning, often causing a jukeboxer crash. Supports simple skins and recording from a linein. (status: demoware/trollware/email addressware) [yep its one of those places that want an email address to dl - just lie like a rug - we love free email!].
